Sakslannad Viktoria Hansova ja Stefanie Votz tegid ajalugu, kui jäid esimest korda juunioride MM-i ajaloos esikohta jagama. Hansova sai esimesel läbimisel ajaks 53,74, mis oli päeva kiireim, teise läbimise lõpetas ta ajaga 53,96. Votz lõpetas esimese läbimise ajaga 53,83, teisel läbimisel sai ta kirja 53,87.
Kuldmedaleid jaganud sakslannad said mõlemad koondtulemuseks 1.47,70, pronksi teenis šveitslanna Sara Schmied, kelle koondtulemus oli 1.48,07.
Läti lipu alt Eesti oma alla kolinud Zunte lõpetas esimese laskumise ajaga 54,21 ning parandas teisel laskumisel seda 0,12 sekundi võrra (54,09), saades koondtulemusega 1.48,30 kuuenda koha. Kaotust võitjatele kogunes 0,60 sekundit.
